PERIPHERIE is a member of the Science Conference, an association that supports science and research in Austria, whose members are independent of the federal government or country institutions and freely funded research organizations and which stand for their own interests.

The Austrian Science Conference is an interlocutor for the federal government, the BMWF, local authorities, institutions and stakeholders in the Austrian scientific and research landscape, such as universities, colleges and academic organizations as well as for the media, in the areas of science and research policy.
